Drunk Driver Causes Wrong Way Crash on Tollway in Dallas, Texas
Early Thursday morning a drunk driver struck another vehicle while driving north in the southbound lanes for a half-mile on the Dallas North Tollway near Loop 12.
47-year-old Isidoro Camacho, who was charged with drunk driving, hit 23-year-old Holly Harding head on. Both were injured and taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Drunk driving is a huge problem in North Texas. I've blogged several times about tragic wrong way accidents. A former FBI employee was even arrested for a wrong way accident on the Tollway. Going the wrong way on a highway can have devastating consequences, and both of these drivers are lucky to be alive.
