18 Wheeler Overturns On The Dallas Tollway
A Pepsi products 18-wheeler overturned going southbound on the Dallas Tollway at Beltline yesterday morning.
The tractor trailer truck was traveling southbound when another vehicle cut him off. When he over-corrected, he crossed the median and ended up in the northbound lane of the Tollway. Six vehicles were involved in the accident, and at least two have been towed.
While it was not reported that anyone was hurt, it is important to remember to be cautious when driving next to a large vehicle, like an 18-wheeler. You're looking at a vehicle weighing more than 10,000 pounds; the injuries sustained in a semi-truck wreck are far more severe than a regular car accident. One out of every nine traffic fatalities in 2007 was caused by a tractor-trailer or other large truck. Following the rules of the road could have prevented this accident, so make sure to be attentive and courteous while driving.

That trucker did not "overcorrect" - he was rammed repeatedly; basically, broadsided off the road! Please be careful what you say; make sure it depicts the truth. Watch the video yourself!
